I have previously seen Dr Ian at Oatley so was pleased to be able to make a recent appointment online at his own Mosman Dental Surgery. Was easy to travel to by bus from Town Hall QVB with stops directly around the corner. Highly recommend Dr Ian as I have total trust in his high standard of clinical practice and expertise. My experience at Mosman Dental was fantastic and I felt welcomed by Dr Ian and his team. I have a tendency to feel nervous going to the dentist and Dr Ian as always is a calming presence explaining every step of the procedure and regularly checking in if I am ok, willing to continue as I feel comfortable. Have a long standing large filling in my front tooth that needed repair which Dr Ian replaced pain free and with a great cosmetic result. Thanks also to David who assisted him. Already have a follow-up appointment to continue with dental assessments and a care plan.

I can feel a different level of awareness and much more confident with my oral needs 🙏🏼Update: Had my veneers fitted over a month ago now and the whole process was seamless. Dr Ian took great care in working with me on the shape and colour to ensure they would look as natural as possible.We tested a set of temporary acrylic teeth to ensure the bite and comfort. After some slight adjustment the porcelain teeth were provided and bonded.My teeth feel protected and sensitivity to vole is gone. It's brought me a lot of confidence that my teeth will be in good shape for years to come. Thanks again Ian and the team!

Wow. Dr. Ian Hedley. This was my third implant. The other two were done by another dentist. I was not looking forward to it. Dr. Ian is such a professional. There was no pain at all. If you are seeking for teeth implant advice/solution, I would sincerely recommend Mosman dental surgery and Dr Ian Hedley based on my pleasant and satisfying experience with this fantastic team.I unfortunately lost one of my bottom post molars teeth due to my diet preference for sweets when I was a teenager. I used denture teeth for the replacement, but found it can't always be fit and tended to be moveable when chewing food. Before I decided to proceed with Dr Ian for my first implant treatment, I had meetings and discussions with him. I felt I was always well educated and kept updated about implant and crown knowledge so that my worries related to the surgery and post treatment have completely gone. It has been 1 year since I had my implant treatment and I am using my beautiful zirconia implant tooth without any problems. It just feels like a natural tooth in my mouth and allows me to continue enjoying yummy food that I love.Much appreciate the professional and caring treatments in this practice, and lastly you would always feel as if you were treated in family in this practice!

If you are looking for an amazing dentist, Mosman Dental Surgery is the place. I was desperate to find someone to help me with a painful tooth that could see me right away and after reading some reviews, I have decided to give Dr. Ian a try. Not only he made room to see me right away, but he also fixed other problems I had before. He was a lifesaver and I trust him 100% with my very difficult teeth. He is very gentle and understanding and responds to all questions and concerns. Also, a special mention to his receptionist Rachel, she ie a sweetheart. Very lovely place too.

I have been so impressed by my two visits over the last week with Ian (I admit I needed a filling!). I had wanted to find a new dentist with a friendly bedside manner as it was my 3 year old daughter’s first dentist appointment - and it was important that we create the best possible experience. We were not disappointed- Ian has two young children himself so straight away he made my daughter feel comfortable. I was also so impressed by the relaxed and friendly vibe of the practice. Love how he has a separate ‘consult’ room to chat in after he assesses and cleans teeth so you can have a more comfortable, natural conversation rather than still lying in a chair! I found it strange that my last dentist would only assess my teeth for 60 seconds, and leave the rest to his hygienist. Nothing like that here - it’s personal service. I would highly recommend Ian to adults and children alike.

I can only add to the many positive reviews already posted in praise of Dr Ian Hedley. My wife was in a terrible state before we met Dr Hedley. After having teeth implants completed in Central Europe in 2019, she found the bridge between them had compacted and was forming a barrier to access and clear an infection behind it. What's more, we were due to fly back to see her relatives in less than 2 months. To correct such a painful journey seemed impossible to us. Dr Hedley calmly assessed the situation, and explained in detail how he could dismantle the existing bridge, clear the infection and either amend the original bridge or replace it with a temporary bridge to hold things together for her journey overseas. This proved to be just as Dr Hedley's website states. Due to his vast experience, he's a Dentist who is ready to meet a challenge. During a 3-hour session, while keeping his patient comfortable, Ian Hedley achieved success! We are both forever grateful for his dedication and skills.

Dr. Nick and his team are simply the BEST.I have been going to dentist for over 20 year now and have horrid memories.Nick from Day 1 has been very patient and clam which helped me a lot (I have zero tolerance for pain)I had a chipped front tooth and not the best cap fixed by another dentist, which caused an infection over time.Although I wanted a quick fix, Nick assured me the long-term benefits in correcting it properly and his advice paid off. I’ve been through every situation you can possibly imagine, having had horrible bridge work done from overseas for three teeth right at the front of my mouth! I called up Dr Nick at 1am extremely anxious after I chipped my tooth. After he calmed me down and diagnosed that I wasn't in any immediate danger of losing my tooth, he booked me in for an appointment at 7:30am.Dr Nick was quick, painless, priced fairly and cosmetically, you wouldn't be able to tell I chipped my tooth.Above and beyond customer service and a great guy to boot, 10/10.

I have been looking for a good dentist for a while, shopping around to get a good quality implant at a reasonable price. It was really hard to find the right solution. A lot of other dentists seemed very overpriced, some even arrogant and showing little interest. Then I finally met Nick. Not only is he highly professional and accurate in his work and in the way he explained everything; he also really cares about people, which truly is a valuable, albeit rare thing nowadays. Dr Nick Kulkarni and his team are a high calibre of professionals offering a comprehensive state of the art service. My tooth had shattered to a point where I required a difficult crown on top of an old root canal. DR Kulkarni was able to offer me a service I could not find anywhere else in Sydney, they were able to repair my tooth on-site in one consultation. This saved me hundreds of dollars avoiding multiply visits as other practices had quoted.My experience was extremely pleasant, relaxed, and not rushed. I was shown photos of my teeth to see the state they were in and Dr Kulkarni took then took the time to explain all the options to me before proceeding. I was even taken through and shown the process as my new tooth was made on-site, truly an impressive practice.Dr Kulkarni is extremely personable and I felt I was in good hands from the moment I arrived, during the procedure, and the advice given to me post implant. I cannot recommend Dr Kulkarni and his team highly enough, you will not be disappointed.

I can't recommend Dr Nick highly enough! I needed a crown for a molar with a pretty big decay. He took the process step-by-step before recommending the best solution. He was very pedagogue throughout the whole process and made sure I understood the pros and cons for me to make my decision. Thanks to his knowledge and his state of the art equipment, I could avoid a root canal treatment and he was able to treat me completely in 1 session (designing and making the crown in his practice). Another dentist in Mosman put down a 5 sessions procedure quote to treat that same tooth... Nick and his team are very caring people and made sure to make me feel confortable the whole time. The whole experience was stress and pain free. I am so happy that I have found Nick and will never use another dentist in Sydney! Thanks again Dr Nick!

Dr Nick was recommended to me by a friend who is a dental technician as I was having problems with a bridge for my front teeth and infection of the roots. Nick explained very thoroughly the three options available to me and I chose to have implants. This involved extraction of the roots and further major dental surgery. At no point did I have any pain either during or after the procedure. His follow up and availability following the procedure was second to none. His surgery is state of the art and is a relaxing environment. He is a true professional

As someone who is generally uncomfortable visiting the dentist, I can highly recommend Mosman Dental Surgery. I found the procedure to be painless and high quality. Amd, Dr Nick goes above and beyond, fitting my son in for an x-ray and check up when he received a knee to the chin during a rugby game. Not only did he find a hairline fracture but also eased the pain by immediately treating a tooth that had been displaced, aiding quicker recovery.

I've never walked out of a dental appointment thinking "that was actually pretty good!" - until I met Dr. Nik.After not having been to the dentist in many years, but taking care of my teeth, I was curious as to whether I would get the hard sell from Nik. Not at all, he mentioned my teeth were in great shape and I was doing a good job - just a general clean was necessary.I also subsequently visited for some cosmetic work (I have a baby tooth that never had it's adult version show up) that made my smile look completely natural.He has also taken care of my fiancee, and she was very happy with his services.Thanks Dr. Nik!

Dr Nick is an outstanding practitioner. I recently had two wisdom teeth extracted in the chair, and what could have been a harrowing experience was virtually painless. Rather than rushing through the procedure to get to his next patient, he took his time to do it right, thus avoiding any unnecessary swelling. 10 years ago I had my other two wisdom teeth out - also in the chair - so I can say from experience that it can be quite horrible. With Dr Nick, even the injections of anaesthetic were painless. He's a lovely guy who makes you feel comfortable as soon as you meet him - something very important when at the dentist! A last minute booking for an emergencyDr Nik was friendly - professional and very caring so Pain free always a plus . The practice is very well run and so clean and surprisingly silent for its location that bring a peacefulness vibe . I highly recommend it

Wonderful practise with friendly, professional and caring staff with state of the art equipment. They worked way past the normal end of day becuase of me and I felt comfortable because they were. They worked their magic on my broken filling and another tooth that needed attention. A small chip on my front tooth was rescued and looks balanced with the other teeth now, very clever dentist and he didn't charge me for that. I will return for a 6 monthly check and send my daughter in soon too, I have recommended this real Northen Beaches find to many people already and I work in high people traffic job.

Doctor Nick is very gentle and patient. His style compared to the many other dentists I have used over the year's, is completely different in such a nice way. I had a filling on Friday and I received a call from him on Saturday morning to check how it felt. This service is rare to find and I want to thank Dr Nick for this.

I saw Nick (the new owner of "The Mosman Dental Surgery") earlier today and I can say with great confidence that he is extremely switched on and knows what he is doing. He has worked internationally and has a great wealth of knowledge. As someone who takes a proactive interest in their dental health and hygiene, I cannot recommend him enough!
