Dr Ian Hedley
Originally from the north west of England, I qualified as a Dental Surgeon at King’s College London. I practised in the private sector in London before relocating to Sydney in 2019. I then spent several busy and rewarding years working as an associate dentist in the CBD and later in Oatley, before taking on the role of Principal Dentist at Mosman Dental Surgery.
We live locally in Mosman and enjoy spending time as a family at Balmoral Beach, Taronga Zoo, and supporting local businesses. My partner, Harriet, brings over 15 years’ experience in both clinical and administrative dental roles and is a key part of supporting our practice and patients.
I am a proud member and Vice President of the Mosman Chamber of Commerce, and community is at the heart of everything we do.

Inspired by the talented European artisans, the tailors of Saville Row, the Florentine shoemakers and Parisian artists I strive to provide beautifully aesthetic, highly functional comprehensive dental excellence.
This passion and ambition to improve patient care has taken me all over the world to pursue further post graduate education. From Florida to Dubai, back to London and closer to home here in Sydney.
I whole heartedly believe in treating each patient as an individual, tailoring any treatment to their specific needs and endeavor to treat each patient with the care, attention and upmost professionalism that they deserve.
To practice dentistry is a true privilege and one I take an enormous amount of pride in.
