Yes, the Mosman Dental Surgery is a centre of excellence for both aesthetic and implant dentistry. We have an outstanding reputation for the quality of our restorative dentistry but are also very comfortable and experienced treating children and offering orthodontic treatment.

All dental practices in Australia have to adhere to very strict sterilisation procedures set out by the Australian Dental Association (ADA). We take sterilisation extremely seriously at Mosman Dental Surgery and have a designated sterilisation suite which you are welcome to tour with one of our nurses anytime.

We are open from 830am to 5pm Monday to Friday. We have designated appointments everyday for emergencies and guarantee a same day appointment.

Yes, we are registered with AHPRA and members of the ADA. All of our x-ray equipment is checked regularly and has passed the strict Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) compliance testing.

We are a modern, fully digital practice, equipped with the latest technology. We have an in house 3D cone beam (CBCT) imaging machine so we don’t have to send patients out with an imaging referral so all of our implant, endodontic (root canal) and surgery cases can be digitally planned in house. We also have brand new, low dose 2D x-ray imaging equipment and intraoral cameras and digital scanning equipment.

All of our restorative work is ceramic and metal free. It is all made in Australia, nothing is made overseas to ensure exceptional quality with the majority handmade in Mosman by master ceramicist Max Zuppardi at Oral Design Down Under on Military road.

Yes, we offer both oral and intravenous sedation for anxious patients or long, uncomfortable procedures. We work exclusively with Dr Minoo Vellani a specialist, board registered dental sedationist to ensure patients are given the highest standard of care that they deserve.

We understand that no one looks forward to a dental appointment and that the surgery can be an intimidating place for patients so we take every opportunity to provide you with a comfortable experience. We use essential oils in a diffuser in the patient waiting area, provide you with filtered water or tea and coffee. All of our surgeries have brand new dental chairs that are ergonomically designed for your comfort and we have additional seating for friends, parents or loved ones to sit with you during a procedure. We also have Netflix on the ceiling TVs, neck pillows and weighted blankets if you would like to use those. We have a consultation room separate from the surgeries where you can discuss your treatment plan with your dentist.

Yes, we are accepting new patients. Our new patient package is either no gap with a dental health fund or $299 without. This includes a comprehensive dental exam, low dose digital x-rays, intraoral photographs, a gentle scale and polish and a treatment plan if required.

If you require a treatment plan, a bespoke, individualised plan with full quote will be provided for you. You can then talk to your dental health fund provider to discuss your rebate.

We kindly ask that you give us a call at least 24 hours prior to the appointment if you cannot make it and need to rearrange. We understand that things come up and appointments need to be rescheduled but please just let us know.

You will be provided with a treatment plan and full costs prior to any treatment so there aren’t any surprises at reception. Our fees are very competitive for both Mosman and greater Sydney.

Yes, we can help you arrange finance with a third party or draw down on your superannuation for larger treatment plans.

Our approach is one of collaboration between the dentist and patient. We view our role as one of education so that you fully understand the health status of your mouth. We use photographs, x-rays and digital impressions to explain any diagnosis and all of your treatment options so that you can make a fully informed decision how you would like to proceed.
